- What is bacteriostatic water?
- Sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol added as a preservative. The preservative inhibits the growth of bacteria, allowing multi-draw use over an extended period.
- How do I verify the batch I received?
- Match the lot number printed on the vial to the entry in our COA Library. The corresponding PDF lists the test results for that batch.
- Why plastic vials instead of glass?
- Plastic vials reduce breakage during transit and lower the risk of glass-related particulates, which keeps the solution cleaner and more consistent in transport.
- How should the vials be stored?
- Store at controlled room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Once opened, multi-draw vials are typically used within 28 days per common research protocols.
- Do you ship internationally?
- We currently ship within the United States. International research customers can email us to discuss case-by-case fulfilment options.
- Is this intended for human use?
- No. ClearBAC products are for in-vitro research use only. They are not intended for human or veterinary use, diagnostic procedures, or therapeutic administration.
